Let Them Eat Cake.

As I was watching Marie Antoinette tonight there were three major things that I realized.

We might as well start with the gorgeous gowns in that movie. I was in awe of every dress Kirsten Dunst wore. With fabrics ranging from lace to silk I couldn't help myself but to wish that I could possibly wear one of those magnificent gowns or simply live in that era. Oh how lovely that would be.

I want a garden. As simple as that sounds it's true. Filled with vegetables and fruits (when i say fruits, tomatoes are what come to mind, that is if they're still classified as fruits...) and flowers. If only I had some place for this garden of mine...

I adore the scenery. Another short phrase but I can't help fall in love with the beautiful sunsets and the waterfront views or the gorgeous fields filled with wild flowers.

The cakes = magnificent. Alright so I lied, there were originally three things but I totally forgot about my infatuation with the cakes and desserts. I definitely have a sweet tooth and now a small craving for tiny petit fours. mmm. Sometime's I wish Publix was open 24/7.

Well I'm sorry i haven't blogged in about 8 days, wow that sounds very long! Trust me I've thought about it but i figured that the 2.4 people that will read this, well what I mean is stumble upon it, wouldn't really mind. But i will definitely try to get better about that!

Plaid.Plaid.Plaid.

Today I wore one of the dresses that I bought from Ross the other day. It's so sweet and girly in my opinion. I'm pretty much a sucker for plaid. (: I wore these shoes which I got from Ross. They're comfortable and I love how they're a frilly version of flip flops, because come on it's Florida!

Well today consisted of meeting up at Starbucks with my boyfriend, getting my hair cut, and shopping with my friend. Overall a good day! Hope y'all did too!

A Day Well Spent At Ross

Yesterday my mom and I decided we were going to swing by a Ross down in Trinity. The only reason we decided to make the extra drive was because of my mom's friend/neighborhood fashionista recommended it. We both have never been big fans of Ross, only because we hardly ever find something we love. Now TJ Maxx or Marshall's, is a whole different story.

Today I woke up around 11:30 (it's summer!) and threw together this ensemble. I always seem to have a bit of trouble deciding what to wear in the mornings so this was an easy choice. The dress was comfortable and I'm obsessed with these shoes! It may have to do with the fact that they're so comfortable or just that they're adorable! I decided against jewelry today, only because i simply couldn't find anything to match, my sister's probably stole something...

We had a great lunch at Panera Bread, which is conveniently located in the same shopping centre, and after drove down to Ross. I must say I had a wonderful time looking through racks and racks of clothes because I ended up finding 2 maxi dresses, a black&white plaid summer dress, black sandals, and an adorable floppy hat. I will definitely be visiting this Ross again (:

Regina: Vintage, So Adorable

Wow, it's taken me atleast 3 days to come up with a name for this blog. After hours upon hours of pondering and bugging my friends to death, I decided to go with Vintage, So Adorable thanks to my friend Tori. I'm really happy with this name because Mean Girls is one of my favorite movies, I can pretty much quote every line. Regina says this about a girls skirt and then calls it hideous but in my opinion it actually is adorable.
Well I figured I might as well explain the title so you won't think it's just an over used uncreative blog. Like i said 3 days and stressing, french or not french, and then most of the names I did come up with were already taken. But ya know, it happens and someone already beat me to it.
Today was an amazing shopping experience for me, and I regret not taking a picture of the outfit I threw together this morning. But I was definitely against taking snapshot in between or after the strenuous day of thrifting and vintage shopping. I brought along my friend Olivia, who I happen to share the same taste in style with, and we dug around and got sweaty looking for treasures. And boy did we find some. The most random ,yet amazing, thing she did find was a cute little clutch made from eel skin, we were dumbfounded! I found a few dresses, 2 coats, some shoes, and an adorable pair of lace up boots, belts, shirts, and accessories. Today was a success, even though when I came home I felt the need to wash away all the invisible dirt, grime, and sweat. Here's a few pictures from the expedition (: 'night<3
